Fanday is made by FFA Studios ("we"). This policy explains what the Fanday app does with your information. The short version: Fanday has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and almost everything stays on your phone.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
- Your team and any favourite players you pick
- Your settings, such as spoiler-free mode and which alerts you want
- Game reminders you set with the bell
- A copy of recent scores, so the app opens fast and works offline
We never see this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
WHAT OUR SERVER RECEIVES
Scores. To show scores, the app asks our server for public game data. Like any website, the server briefly sees your device's IP address to send the answer back. We don't store it or use it for anything else. Our server runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf.
Alerts (only if you allow notifications). To send close-game and final-score alerts, the app gives our server:
- a push token, a random code from Apple that lets us send a notification to this app on your phone
- your team
- which alerts you turned on, and whether spoiler-free mode is on (so we leave the score out)
This isn't linked to your name, email or Apple ID, and we can't use it to identify you. We use it only to send the alerts you asked for. Notifications are delivered through Expo's push service and Apple Push Notification service. If you turn off notifications for Fanday or delete the app, Apple tells us the token no longer works and we delete it.
CALENDAR
If you tap Add to Calendar, iOS shows its own New Event screen and you choose whether to save it. Fanday asks only to add events. It can't read your calendar.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
- No accounts or sign-in
- No advertising and no ad networks
- No analytics or tracking across apps and websites
- We don't sell or share your information
CHILDREN
Fanday is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because we don't know who you are, the simplest way is to turn off Fanday's notifications or delete the app. You can also contact us at hello@ffastudios.com.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
